1
1st day: arêches beaufort
Non-vehicular participants are collected from Albertville station before 11am.
Meet at 1.30pm at the hotel in the heart of the village.
of Arêches Beaufort. If you need to hire equipment, we will put you in touch with a hire company in Arêches. You will need to collect it before midday.
When you arrive, you will be given a briefing on the four days.
Ski touring outing in the afternoon to learn about ski touring equipment.
Ascent of around 500m D+, explanations of the different ascent techniques (conversions, gliding uphill, handling skins and bindings, etc.). Learn how to use the avalanche victim detector.
Test descent to validate off-piste skiing skills.

Day 2 :
Morning session to perfect the basics of all-snow skiing
on the Arêches Beaufort ski area. You will use the
ski lifts to do some freerando with off-piste
off-piste descents. The aim of this morning is to
help you improve your downhill technique in all types
all types of snow so that you'll feel at ease in a variety of
varied terrain.
Picnic lunch.
Afternoon ski touring.
D+ between 500 and 800m D+ during the day

Day 3 and 4 :
Day outings in ski touring around the Arêches Beaufort resort to put into practice all the advice given by your instructor and gain confidence in the varied terrain.
Some of the routes covered include: Roche Parstire, Pointe du Riondet, Pointe de la Grande Journée, Pointe du Dard, etc.
You will cover between 750m and 1300m D+ during the day.
On the last day, the course finishes at around 4 p.m.
Return by minibus to Albertville station for those without a vehicle.

BOURG SAINT MAURICE 1ST DAY
Meet at the hotel at 6pm to welcome participants. Possibility of hiring equipment in Bourg Saint Maurice before 6pm at SKI PRECISION, located opposite the station.
Equipment check, briefing on the programme.
Dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Day 2 :
Safety exercises. Advice and practice with the avalanche victim detector.
Dôme de Vaugelaz or Col du Mont Rosset between 900m and 1000m D+.
This is an outing to practise climbing and descending with the aim of confirming the physical and technical level of the participants.
Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 to 5 :
A day's ski touring on the other side of the Beaufortain.
Courses: Pointe de la Combe Bénite, Pointe de la Combe Neuve, Pointe de Plovezan, Col du Grand Fond, Mont Rosset, Aiguille de Praina.
Beautiful hikes, sometimes in a loop on the Chapelles slope. Alpine-style vertical drops.
You'll cover between 1100m and 1550m D+ during the day.
Dinner at the hotel.
End of the tour around 4pm.
Drop-off at the station for non-vehicle users.
